About this camp

The Coding School's National High School Research Program in Data Science offers high school students an unprecedented opportunity to conduct virtual research at a college level. Over four to five weeks, students gain a full skill set in data science, transitioning from foundational concepts to advanced technical abilities. The program provides intensive training in coding with R, data visualization, data cleaning, and data analysis. Students work closely with mentors from academia, government, and industry to develop their own research projects using real-world datasets. The program culminates in a college-level project that can be showcased in college applications and presented at the TCS National Research Symposium. Students also develop transferable STEM research abilities and learn to professionally communicate their findings.
