About this camp

Students in the Elementary Engineering camp unlock their inner engineer by exploring the building blocks of mechanical engineering through hands-on activities. Using LEGO® Education and LEGO® Technic™ materials, participants investigate how pulleys, levers, gears, and wheels work together to power machines. Working in pairs, they practice building techniques, test mechanical principles, and solve engineering challenges designed to spark creativity and problem-solving. This class encourages teamwork, experimentation, and applied learning as students explore how engineering concepts can be used to design and build their own unique creations. The curriculum is designed to be approachable for newcomers while offering challenges for more experienced students.
